You are free to do whatever you fancy on our day trip to York. With up to 5 hours to spend in York you could: visit the National Railway Museum (our drop-off and pickup point in York) to see the Flying Scotsman; take a cruise along the River Ouse; have a traditional Sunday lunch at one of York's many restaurants; browse Shambles Market; visit York Minster or one of many other city attractions such as JORVIK Viking Centre.

National Railway Museum (NRM)

Step back in time and experience what it was like to travel by steam train with a ride through South Yard at NRM, hauled by Agecroft steam locomotive (or similar) taking in the changing landscape and waving to passengers on the miniature railway. £4 per person paid directly to the museum.
