Bruges Winter Wonderland

The main Christmas market takes up the entire Grote Markt, sitting beneath the beautiful Belfry. An array of traditional Christmas songs serenade you through speakers as you pass by beautiful market stalls. Home to some of the best chocolate in the world, it would be rude not to try it while you’re there. The noise of horse and cart on cobbled grounds will become more common to your ears than a car engine, and watching, with a hot glühwein between your gloves, the festive lights illuminate the medieval architecture fills even the biggest Scrooge with the Christmas spirit.
