Tulip Festival at Pashley Manor, Great Dixter House and Gardens (26-Apr-19)
In mid to late April the fragrant bluebell walk at Pashley Manor awakens, enticing you to stroll down the valley by the little stream. At the same time a magnificent display of tulips begins.
Great Dixter is an historic house, a garden - the focus of late gardening writer Christopher Lloyd's energy and enthusiasm for over 40 years - and a place of pilgrimage for horticulturists from across the world.
Pashley Manor
There is a café serving locally sourced and homemade cakes, scones and light lunches as well as a shop selling gorgeous gifts, souvenirs and plants. Pashley also hosts exhibitions of garden sculpture and floral art.
Great Dixter House & Gardens
Great Dixter was the family home of gardener and gardening writer Christopher Lloyd. Now under the stewardship of the Great Dixter Charitable Trust and head gardener, Fergus Garrett, this historic house, garden, centre of education is a place of pilgrimage for horticulturists from across the world.
