Your day with us starts at your chosen pick up point where you will be met by your courier and coach before journeying on towards London. Once you arrive in Abbey Wood you will be guided to Crossness Pumping Station where you will partake in an illustrated talk. This illustrated talk will help provide context to Crossness Pumping Station’s role in London’s history, from Joseph Bazzalgette to the Great Stink and our modern sewer system!

From there you will be taken on a guided tour of the Crossness Station Site and the Engines, where your Crossness guide will regale you with the history, stories and people who turned Crossness Station into the Powerhouse of Victorian Plumbing.

After your Illustrated Talk and Guided Tour you will be free to explore the Great Stink Exhibition and Collection of Toilets available in Crossness Station.

Once you have concluded your visit to the Pumping Station you will meet back with your coach and journey on to a local pub in Greenwich to partake in a pub lunch of your choosing. From there you will be taken back to your original pick up point.
